Finally a decent, washable hand held radio case!

After my husband Steve, K4SLB, had gone through several of the Manufactures Plastic, leather and neoprene cases I decided to see if I could come up with a knitted one.

It seemed like this would be a better approach to the Radio Cover, Case, Glove or Mitten or what ever you would like to call it. Well, after I made him the first one over a year ago, Freehand without a pattern, others with the Yaesu VX7-R noticed his and asked about it. Over the last few months, in my spare time I have come up with a pattern and produced a few for friends, they are handmade and a bit time consuming so they won't be cheap.

100% Mercerized Cotton Thread
Machine washable, Dryer safe
1 Section of plastic Canvass 2 1/8 2 3/8.
Along with a lot of talent and a lot of patience.

It helps protect the HT's case from scratches, it helps cushion a drop of the radio and it works as an "Oven Mit" when you have long QSO's at High power.
